Wedding Card - Bloomin Heart

Wedding Card

As I have an upcoming wedding to attend in July I thought I'd get organised and make a start on a card. I decided that rather than spend my time on Pinterest, I'd just create my own card so it was unique and not CASED in this instance. I tend to spend so much time pinning all my favourite cards that I often don't get time to actually sit down and make a card.

I also thought it would be the perfect opportunity to highlight it on Kylie's Team Project Highlights.

I wanted it to be simple but classy so decided to keep things minimal. I am happy with how it turned out.

Inside I used another sentiment from the  'Rose Wonder' stamp set. I used gold glimmer cardstock for the heart. I love how crisp this looks. I embossed in gold and for the background of the card I used white emboss powder. I love how it turned out, using white emboss powder on a white background. Subtle, yet effective. The close up photo shows how it turned out!

For more inspirations, please have a look at our talented team members projects at the Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlights. You get to vote on your two favourite cards by clicking on the love heart on the right hand corner of the image. Happy voting and thanks for visiting.

Below is a list of products I used to make tip card.

  2. Thanks so much Juan, I was hoping it would look elegant and classy. Thanks for finding my post. I have just discovered my link doesn't work :( I have no idea what went wrong but I would love to fix it so people can go straight to my post. I'm such a novice at this blogging stuff. Hope I can improve. BTW, I love your card too - but I'll head on over to your post and comment there too.

    1. Thanks Satomi. The background needed something but I wanted it to remain subtle. I think the heat embossing in white gave the background a nice texture!

    1. Yes. I was the same! Used it for valentine's day then put it away. Am so glad I've had an excuse to use it again. It's too amazing not to use!
